Technical Manager – Theme Park Attractions (Taif & Jazan)

About the role

The Technical Manager will lead all technical aspects of attraction rides and devices across SEVEN’s complexes in Taif and Jazan. The role covers the full project lifecycle from detailed design through on‑site installation, ensuring compliance with safety standards, maintenance requirements and operational readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with operations, project attraction teams and external consultants to define and implement technical requirements for rides and devices.
• Review and comment on concept, schematic and detailed design packages, ensuring alignment with SEVEN’s project strategy and international safety standards (EN13814, ASTM F24).
• Develop, implement and monitor maintenance strategies, including planned maintenance scheduling, corrective maintenance, root‑cause analysis and KPI tracking.
• Lead annual certification/recertification of attractions, emergency evacuation procedures, tool calibration and equipment certification.
• Manage spare‑parts strategy, stock availability and modifications in partnership with manufacturers.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation such as O&M manuals, service bulletins, SOPs and troubleshooting guides.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in the leisure and attraction industry, preferably within theme parks, with proven expertise in ride maintenance, certification and safety compliance.
• Familiarity with EN13814 and ASTM F24 ride standards and experience handling roller‑coaster, thrill‑ride and family‑ride systems.
• Strong English communication skills; Arabic is a plus.
