Technical Services and Support Manager

About the role

Jotun Saudia is looking for a Technical Services and Support Manager to run its Technical Service Support department for the Performance Coatings business in the local unit. The role is based in Dammam and reports to the Protective & Marine Segment Director. It covers paints specifications, guarantee handling, claims management, sales support, technical training and technical service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage technical questions on coating systems, specifications, guarantees and application so that performance is expected and claim risk is minimized.
• Handle the technical side of complaints, with timely resolution and customer feedback, and keep local documentation aligned with market needs and global guidelines.
• Drive learning from complaints through regular reviews, action plans and follow-up, identifying root causes and corrective actions.
• Train staff on general technical knowledge, specific product knowledge and Jotun's global working processes in Marine and Protective coatings.
• Lead the team, develop and guide members, and ensure the staffing and competence profile fits the objectives.
• Support R&D by carrying out trial applications and field testing.
• Ensure technical service policies, procedures and operating structure meet quality standards, and develop the local Technical Sales Support business plan and budget, short and long term.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in Technical Service and Sales Support.
• AMPP/NACE Level 3 certification.
• Fluent English, spoken and written.
• Leadership, strategic thinking and techno-commercial acumen.
• Ability to understand informal organizational rules and use political processes effectively.
