Technical Services Venue Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Technical Services Venue Manager to lead the readiness and operation of permanent infrastructure for a major international sporting event in Saudi Arabia. The role ensures all venue systems are operational, compliant, and ready for tournament use.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver infrastructure readiness across competition and non‑competition venues.
• Conduct inspections, audits and technical assessments to verify compliance with event requirements.
• Oversee performance of permanent systems such as power distribution, HVAC, water, fire safety, elevators, BMS, CCTV, ICT, and public address.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning and validation activities.
• Serve as the primary liaison between venue owners, contractors, government authorities and event stakeholders.
• Identify infrastructure risks, develop mitigation strategies and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support technical operations during test events and the tournament, managing incident response and rapid issue resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Building Services, Construction Management or a related field.
• 8‑12 years of experience managing large‑scale venue or facility infrastructure.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage complex stakeholder environments.
