Technical Sourcing Specialist – Global OEM & Spare Parts

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Technical Sourcing Specialist to lead global procurement and supplier discovery for OEM equipment and spare parts. You will analyse complex technical RFQs, interpret engineering specifications, and connect with verified manufacturers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Review and dissect technical RFQs, BOMs, datasheets, part numbers and equipment tags, distinguishing between major EPC packages, sub‑assemblies and consumable spare parts.
• Conduct advanced research using search engines, industrial directories and global databases to identify OEMs, master distributors and licensed fabricators.
• Establish direct sourcing relationships, request technical data, negotiate pricing, MOQs, incoterms, warranties and delivery lead times.
• Communicate fluently in English with manufacturers across North America, Europe and Asia, clarifying technical discrepancies and coordinating with internal engineering and sales teams.
• Maintain accurate vendor records, pricing history and sourcing intelligence databases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or a related technical field.
• 2–5+ years of hands‑on experience in technical sourcing, industrial procurement or technical estimation within MRO environments.
• Professional written and verbal English communication skills.
