Technology Platforms Expert

About the role

The Technology Platforms Expert will support the implementation, integration, and optimisation of Specialized’s technology platforms and IT applications. You will ensure reliable, efficient business operations by managing application lifecycles, monitoring performance, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the IT applications plan, integrating mission‑critical devices, client systems and related technology environments.
• Implement and maintain organisation‑wide IT applications to improve operational efficiency, data management and workflow automation.
• Manage application lifecycle activities: requirements gathering, testing, deployment, upgrades and ongoing maintenance.
• Coordinate integration of applications with internal systems, infrastructure, devices and network assets.
• Monitor application performance, availability, security and scalability, identifying improvement opportunities.
• Apply data governance and security controls in line with approved frameworks.
• Liaise with vendors, service providers and internal teams to resolve application issues.
• Analyse incidents and recurring performance problems, supporting corrective and preventive actions.
• Provide technical support to minimise service disruption.
• Contribute to enhancements, automation and process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Information Systems or a related field.
• 3‑6 years of experience in IT application support, system integration or platform management.
• Fluent English communication skills.
