Temporary Documentation Section Manager

About the role

The Temporary Documentation Section Manager will lead the temporary documentation function for the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, ensuring that policies, procedures and guidelines comply with NCAR regulations. The role oversees the classification, indexing, filing, retrieval, security and accessibility of temporary records, and manages the electronic system for scanning, uploading and distribution.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the Documentation & Administration business plan and align it with ZATCA strategy.
• Develop and implement the operational plan for temporary documentation, in line with finance and administration strategies.
• Monitor and apply the latest NCAR regulations related to active and temporary documentation and archiving.
• Create and communicate frameworks, guidelines, policies and procedures for active and temporary documentation.
• Ensure security, accessibility and proper distribution of temporary organizational documents.
• Manage the electronic documentation system, guaranteeing that all temporary documents are scanned and uploaded according to archiving policies.
• Set individual performance objectives, provide support, evaluate team performance and give regular feedback.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Archives and Records Management or equivalent (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of general administration, organization and planning, information systems, and records management.
• Proficiency in vendor management, professionalism, results orientation, customer focus, strategic thinking and collaboration.
