Utilities Sr Technician

About the role

The Utilities Senior Technician supports the continuous operation of critical utility systems in a large food manufacturing environment. You will ensure reliable performance of water, air, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment while complying with safety, environmental, and audit standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform utilities routines such as water records, wastewater sampling, energy logging, and environmental documentation.
• Maintain accurate logs of inspections, repairs, preventive maintenance, and compliance reports.
• Ensure proper waste segregation and report any non‑conformities.
• Carry out preventive maintenance on ammonia refrigeration, HVAC, Freon DX units, compressed air, water supply, hot and cold water, and drainage systems.
• Uphold 5S standards in the utilities area and support general maintenance tasks as needed.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for spare parts and services.
• Diagnose issues in utility systems and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Basic understanding of utility equipment and safety procedures.
• Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing setting.
