UX Writer (Tamheer)

About the role

Salla, a leading e‑commerce platform in Saudi Arabia, is looking for a UX Writer to join its Tamheer program. You will craft clear, concise UI copy that helps merchants navigate the platform with confidence, while collaborating closely with product and design teams.

Key responsibilities

• Write microcopy for buttons, forms, error messages, tooltips, notifications, and onboarding flows.
• Create in‑product guidance, longer‑form product content, and email copy.
• Partner with Product Managers to align content with user needs and business goals.
• Work with Product Designers in Figma to ensure seamless integration of copy and design.
• Maintain a consistent brand voice across all product touchpoints.
• Adapt content for different user contexts and audience segments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Arabic, English, Linguistics, Translation, Communication, or a related field.
• Practical writing experience gained through internships, freelance projects, university work, or similar.
• Strong Arabic and English writing and editing abilities.
• Ability to simplify complex ideas into user‑friendly copy.
• Excellent attention to grammar, tone, and detail.
• Portfolio or relevant writing samples preferred.

Required skills

• Figma (or similar collaborative design tool).
