Vascular Surgery Registrar – High‑Volume Practice

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Vascular Surgery Registrar to join a busy vascular and endovascular team. The role offers exposure to a wide range of open and endovascular procedures, dialysis access work and limb‑salvage cases in a high‑volume hospital setting.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage patients with vascular disease.
• Assist in open vascular and endovascular surgeries.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient vascular surgery care.
• Participate in emergency vascular call coverage.
• Conduct patient rounds, documentation and discharge planning.
• Support pre‑operative assessment and post‑operative care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient management.
• Engage in departmental meetings, quality improvement projects and clinical audits.
• Contribute to teaching of junior staff and medical students when required.

Required profile

• Medical degree recognised by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
• Registration or eligibility for registration with SCFHS.
• Completed residency/training in General Surgery.
• Current designation as a Vascular Surgery Registrar or equivalent.
• Strong clinical and surgical abilities with interest in vascular and endovascular practice.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
