VAT & Tax Compliance Accountant (Saudization)

About the role

The VAT, Tax, Zakat & Treasury Accountant will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Saudi tax regulations, including VAT, WHT, Zakat and corporate tax, while supporting treasury activities and distributor account management. This position follows the Saudization directives set by local labour authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit VAT returns in line with ZATCA requirements.
• Review VAT treatment of sales, purchases, imports and inter‑company transactions.
• Calculate, file and reconcile WHT.
• Support annual Zakat and corporate income tax filings and tax audits.
• Maintain tax account reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Review customs duties, import VAT and related accounting entries.
• Coordinate with external tax advisors, auditors and ZATCA authorities.
• Assist treasury operations: cash management, payments, bank reconciliations and cash forecasting.
• Monitor distributor statements of account, perform reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure adherence to Reckitt internal controls and finance policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in VAT, tax, Zakat or financial accounting.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi tax regulations and ZATCA requirements.

• SAP (or other ERP systems)
