Waiter/Waitress – Lebanese Restaurant (Sofitel Riyadh)

About the role

Join Thuraya, the Lebanese restaurant inside Sofitel Riyadh, and deliver exceptional, personalized service to guests enjoying a blend of traditional and modern Lebanese cuisine. As a Waiter/Waitress you will be the face of the restaurant, ensuring every dining experience reflects the warmth and hospitality of the brand.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly, present menus, and explain dishes, ingredients, and daily specials with confidence.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, communicating them clearly to kitchen and bar teams.
• Provide attentive, personalized table service while anticipating guests’ needs.
• Maintain proper table settings, clear tables according to standards, and ensure a clean dining environment.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, handling requests or concerns promptly.
• Coordinate closely with kitchen, bar, hostess, and fellow service staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Handle billing and payment procedures accurately and professionally.
• Support opening and closing duties, including restaurant preparation and cleaning.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a waiter/waitress in a high‑end restaurant, luxury hotel, or premium dining setting.
• Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude, professional appearance, and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Team player with a genuine willingness to support colleagues.
• Good command of English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Knowledge or experience with Lebanese/Middle Eastern cuisine is highly desirable.
