Waiter/Waitress – Luxury Resort Service

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic Waiter/Waitress to join the food and beverage team at Fairmont The Red Sea, a luxury resort in Umluj. You will deliver high‑quality service to guests in a sustainable, nature‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide courteous, professional, and efficient food and beverage service, anticipating guest needs and preferences.
• Present menus, explain dishes and beverages, and maintain strong product knowledge of daily specials.
• Serve, clear, and reset tables promptly while supporting teammates with food running and station refills.
• Act as a liaison between Front of House and Back of House to ensure smooth service flow.
• Follow opening and closing checklists, maintain cleanliness of service stations, and adhere to HACCP, FIFO, health and safety procedures.
• Support daily financial targets, handle cash according to company guidelines, and uphold LQA, Forbes, and guest satisfaction standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in luxury hospitality.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and flexibility to work weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and service standards (HACCP, FIFO).
• Familiarity with luxury benchmarks such as LQA or Forbes is advantageous.
