Waiter/Waitress (Mandarin speaker) – Luxury Resort

About the role

We are seeking a Mandarin‑speaking waiter or waitress to join the food and beverage team at Raffles The Red Sea, a luxury resort in Umluj, Saudi Arabia. You will deliver courteous, professional service to guests, anticipate their needs, and help create memorable dining experiences in a high‑end, nature‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide efficient food and beverage service, presenting menus and explaining dishes and drinks in detail.
• Set, clear, and reset tables according to service standards, and support teammates with food running and station refills.
• Act as a liaison between Front of House and Back of House to ensure smooth service flow.
• Handle guest feedback professionally and report concerns to the Manager on Duty.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and comply with HACCP and FIFO standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in luxury hospitality.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Fluent Mandarin speaking ability.

Required skills

• Strong product knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and beverage offerings.
• Understanding of HACCP, FIFO, and health‑safety procedures.
• Ability to follow financial handling procedures and meet outlet financial targets.
