Waiter/Waitress (Saudi National)

About the role

SLS The Red Sea, a lifestyle resort on the Red Sea coast of Saudi Arabia with five Food & Beverage venues, is hiring a Waiter/Waitress (Saudi National) for its full-time position. You will deliver personalized, attentive food and beverage service and help maintain the outlet's day-to-day operations in line with SLS standards, hygiene requirements and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverage service according to SLS standards and guest expectations.
• Create memorable guest experiences with personalized, professional service.
• Know menus, ingredients, allergens and preparation methods to recommend dishes confidently.
• Process guest orders and payments accurately using the POS system.
• Keep the dining area clean and organized, and prepare service stations and equipment.
• Monitor food and beverage quality and report issues to the supervisor or kitchen team.
• Apply upselling techniques to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.
• Support inventory control, equipment maintenance and proper storage of supplies.
• Collaborate with the kitchen, bar and wider F&B team, and follow health, safety and hygiene standards.
• Support special events, promotions and continuous service improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1-2 years' experience as a waiter/server, preferably in a luxury hotel, resort or upscale hospitality setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a hospitality qualification or food and beverage training is an advantage.
• Fluent English required.
• Physically able to stand for long periods and carry trays or service equipment.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service, dining etiquette and guest service standards.
• Familiarity with POS systems and accurate order processing.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
