Warehouse Coordinator

About the role

The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for receiving, storing, and dispatching goods within the company's warehouse. The role involves operating forklift trucks and other warehouse equipment to ensure smooth material flow and timely deliveries to customer warehouses.

Key responsibilities

• Arrange and optimise warehouse space for incoming products and materials.
• Receive shipments, verify documentation, and ensure all required paperwork is collected.
• Operate forklift trucks and other movement equipment to upload, download, and store items in designated locations.
• Check incoming items against invoices, quantities, and related documents.
• Submit goods receipts to the warehouse supervisor.
• Coordinate delivery of stored material to customers' warehouses with assigned shippers.
• Request and forward delivery notes to the accounting department.
• Maintain daily readiness of forklifts and warehouse tools.
• Assist in preparing periodic warehouse transaction reports and solving operational issues.
• Conduct inventory counts according to company directives.

Required profile

• Preferably a graduate in supply chain management or a related field.
• Minimum of one year proven experience in a warehouse environment.
