Web Developer Intern – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Web Developer Intern to join our fully remote team at Gulf Associates. You will work on building and maintaining web‑based tools that help our advisors visualise commercial data for a logistics client based in Jeddah.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain internal web applications that present regional market data.
• Update the firm’s code base to keep client‑facing reporting portals responsive and secure.
• Create custom dashboards for the Jeddah logistics engagement.
• Collaborate with senior partners to turn complex commercial data into interactive web elements.
• Ensure optimal performance and load speed of data‑heavy research pages.
• Write clean, well‑documented code for easy hand‑over.
• Troubleshoot front‑end bugs during project presentations.

Required profile

• Basic proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with at least one modern front‑end framework such as React or Vue.
• Understanding of responsive design for desktop and mobile.
• Experience using Git for version control.
• Ability to explain technical concepts in plain English.
• Logical problem‑solving mindset and interest in technology supporting business decisions.
• Willingness to work fully remote with a distributed regional team.
