About the role

Design, develop, launch, and maintain responsive corporate websites for Apex Communication. The role involves building WordPress, CMS‑based sites, landing pages, campaign pages and microsites while ensuring high performance and security.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive corporate websites and microsites.
• Build and customize WordPress themes, plugins and page‑builder layouts.
• Create and maintain e‑commerce sites using WooCommerce, Shopify or similar platforms.
• Manage website content updates, image changes, forms, blogs and overall CMS administration.
• Handle website maintenance, troubleshooting, bug fixing and technical issue resolution.
• Administer hosting environments, servers, FTP access, control panels and databases.
• Configure domains, DNS records, SSL certificates, redirects and subdomains.
• Implement security best practices, backups, restoration procedures and uptime monitoring.
• Optimize site speed, Core Web Vitals, caching, image compression and script performance.
• Ensure mobile responsiveness, cross‑browser compatibility and basic on‑page/technical SEO.
• Set up and manage Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with WordPress development, including themes, plugins and page builders.
• Proficiency in e‑commerce platforms such as WooCommerce or Shopify.
• Strong knowledge of website hosting, server management, FTP and database administration.
• Familiarity with domain and DNS management, SSL certificates and URL redirects.
• Ability to implement security measures, backups and monitor site uptime.
• Experience optimizing performance for Core Web Vitals, caching and image handling.
• Understanding of responsive design and cross‑browser compatibility.
• Basic on‑page and technical SEO skills, including sitemaps and metadata.
• Competence in configuring Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
• Problem‑solving skills for troubleshooting and bug fixing.
• Experience integrating CRM, email systems, chatbots and simple automation.
