Welding Supervisor

About the role

Nesma & Partners is looking for a Welding Supervisor in Dammam to lead the implementation of works at its fabrication workshops. The role oversees the creation and assembly of products according to sketches, specifications and standards, ensuring timely delivery and installation on site.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise fabrication yard erection, including fit-up, welding and lifting, and oversee installation such as piping.
• Coordinate fabrication/installation with pre-fabrication and work with subcontractors on assembly.
• Manage workshop production, track job status and propose overtime when capacity is short.
• Coordinate transport of subcontracted work with the Logistics Team and verify incoming materials against paperwork and certificates.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health and environmental policies, and take part in incident investigations.
• Mentor, train and coach direct reports, delegate tasks and build team commitment.
• Provide accurate data for progress reports and identify continuous improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• High school or vocational diploma or equivalent.
• 10 years of related experience in similar positions.
• Preferred: experience in the EPC industry and Arabic.

• Contracting management, regulatory compliance and knowledge.
• Troubleshooting and quality control management.
• Safety and hygiene practices.
• English; Arabic preferred.
