Windows Team Lead – Saudi Arabia

About the role

Excis is seeking an experienced Windows Team Lead to provide technical leadership and operational oversight for its enterprise Windows Server infrastructure in Saudi Arabia. The role will act as a senior escalation point, guiding Windows engineers and ensuring the reliability, security and performance of critical services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the administration, availability, performance and reliability of enterprise Windows Server environments.
• Define and enforce Windows administration standards, best practices and operational procedures.
• Mentor L1/L2 Windows engineers and review configurations, upgrades and maintenance plans.
• Serve as senior escalation point for complex incidents, infrastructure changes and security remediation.
• Support and troubleshoot Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP, resolving authentication and policy issues.
• Provide technical leadership for VMware and VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environments, including integration with Windows services.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell automation for administration, monitoring, reporting and remediation.
• Support enterprise applications such as Exchange, Citrix and SCCM, coordinating incident and change activities.
• Oversee backup, disaster recovery and business continuity planning, and drive patch management and vulnerability remediation.
• Participate in incident, change and problem management processes, leading resolution of high‑priority events.

Required profile

• Extensive experience administering Windows Server, Active Directory and related services.
• Strong background in VMware/VCF virtualization and Windows integration.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and mentor junior engineers.
• Solid understanding of backup, disaster recovery, patch management and security compliance.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to act as senior escalation point.
