A/C Technician – Hotel Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic A/C Technician to join our hotel’s engineering team. You will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing temperature and air‑quality control systems to ensure a comfortable environment for our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Repair, maintain and provide technical attention to all electrical and mechanical refrigeration systems (freezers, fridges, ice makers, fan coil units, chillers, etc.).
• Perform preventive maintenance on all air‑conditioning and refrigeration equipment.
• Check performance of refrigeration components, door gaskets, latches, defrosting systems and automation of ice makers.
• Respond to maintenance requests from all hotel departments and ensure routine cleaning of fan coil units and air‑handling filters.
• Monitor air‑conditioning and chilled‑water system performance and cooperate with engineering colleagues to diagnose failures.
• Control venting of CFCs, overhaul equipment, and verify refrigeration and oil levels.
• Coordinate parts procurement with the storekeeper and ensure all work complies with local technical regulations and safety standards.

Required profile

• Diploma in refrigeration maintenance or building services engineering.
• Proven experience in a similar role within a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Strong command of English and ability to diagnose and rectify subsystem faults.
• Self‑motivated, hands‑on, adaptable to unpredictable events, and able to stay calm under pressure.
