Account Director – Saudi National (Riyadh)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, commercially‑driven Account Director to lead our Riyadh office’s client partnerships. The role combines senior client leadership, strategic account management and business development, reporting to senior management and interacting with C‑suite stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee a portfolio of key strategic client accounts, ensuring strong relationships, high‑quality delivery and long‑term retention.
• Act as a trusted strategic advisor to senior and C‑suite client stakeholders, identifying opportunities to add value beyond existing scopes.
• Maintain high standards of client servicing, proactively resolve issues and ensure client satisfaction.
• Lead, mentor and develop the Account Management/Client Servicing team, setting objectives, KPIs and fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Drive account growth through upselling, cross‑selling and new service opportunities while managing profitability, budgets and pricing.
• Collaborate with senior management to set revenue targets and ensure commercial opportunities are converted.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Saudi Arabia, building a strong network within the local marketing landscape.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of agency experience with a proven track record of managing major client relationships.
• Deep knowledge of the Saudi market and experience working with senior and C‑suite stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to lead high‑performing teams, mentor talent and drive a results‑focused culture.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in account profitability, budgeting and revenue growth.
• Excellent communication and strategic advisory skills.
