Account Manager – EPC & COG

About the role

ABB is looking for an Account Manager to drive sales of power distribution products and solutions across the Middle East & Africa region. You will be responsible for growing the share of wallet, profitability and customer satisfaction while acting as the bridge between local customers, Chinese EPC partners and ABB’s global teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement an account strategy focused on medium‑voltage (MV) product and solution growth.
• Plan and execute sales initiatives with key EPC accounts and utility, renewable and COG segments.
• Achieve sales targets for MV products and solutions, including export sales support (RFQ and PO handling).
• Maintain and deepen long‑term customer relationships, ensuring a positive experience and full‑portfolio promotion.
• Identify new market opportunities and drive business development in the designated region.
• Lead, motivate and develop cross‑country project teams, fostering knowledge sharing and collaboration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a scientific or engineering discipline, preferably electrical or automation.
• Fluent in English and Chinese; Arabic knowledge is a plus.
• Proven experience in sales of power distribution or medium‑voltage solutions.
• Strong understanding of the Middle East & Africa market and EPC dynamics.
