Accountant – AP, AR & General Ledger

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Accountant to join our finance team. The role covers the full spectrum of accounting activities, from accounts payable and receivable to general ledger maintenance and cash management, supporting our global operations.

Key responsibilities

• Update accounts payable, perform reconciliations and bookkeeping.
• Process vendor invoices accurately, ensuring proper coding and approval.
• Prepare payment proposals and manage timely vendor disbursements.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships and resolve payment inquiries.
• Review and reconcile vendor statements, addressing discrepancies.
• Prepare weekly/monthly financial reports and maintain vendor master data.
• Record routine journal entries, support month‑end closing and account reconciliations.
• Generate customer invoices, monitor collections and allocate incoming payments.
• Handle daily petty cash and ensure proper accounting.
• Assist with internal and external audit documentation.
• Support VAT filing and tax compliance activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English (read, write, speak).
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced setting.
