Accountant – Finance & Reporting

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join our dynamic team in the aviation and travel sector. You will ensure accurate recording of cost and expense documents, reflect revenue and expenses in compliance with legislation and accounting standards, and support our certified public accountant with local law requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and verify sales revenues, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and record them accurately.
• Provide office income, cost, financing and financial statistics to the Sales Manager or supervisor.
• Handle timely bank deposits for sales proceeds and record them.
• Process payments for approved expenditures following written approvals and manage disbursements of allowances.
• Maintain the annual cost budget sheet, monitor costs against budget, and alert superiors of potential overruns.
• Manage administrative affairs and follow up on related issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least one year of experience in finance, accounting, monthly close, and financial reporting, preferably in aviation or travel agencies.
• Valid work permit or citizenship.
• Strong sense of responsibility, accurate decision‑making and high organization.
• Excellent command of English and Arabic.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience with SAP (preferred).
