Accountant – Financial Reporting & Tax Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Accountant to manage our financial records, ensure regulatory compliance, and support strategic financial planning. The role involves a mix of reporting, tax preparation, and collaboration with multiple departments.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations.
• Compute taxes owed, prepare tax returns, and guarantee timely payments.
• Inspect accounting systems for efficiency and adherence to accepted procedures.
• Organize and maintain comprehensive financial documentation.
• Develop, analyze, and monitor budgets and financial forecasts.
• Prepare internal and external management reports.
• Audit financial transactions and documents, supporting internal and external audits.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Handle payroll processing, tax withholdings, and benefit deductions.
• Create and issue invoices, verify accuracy, and manage accounts receivable.
• Evaluate internal controls and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an accountant.
• Proficiency in English (essential).
