Accountant-General – Full-time (Makkah, Saudi Arabia)

About the role

The Accountant-General will ensure accurate financial recording, reporting, and compliance for our Makkah location. This full‑time position supports the finance team by maintaining precise accounting data and assisting with period‑end processes.

Key responsibilities

• Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper coding.
• Organise, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash and cash equivalents in line with policies.
• Record, store, access and analyse computerized financial information.
• Maintain accurate electronic spreadsheets for financial and accounting data.
• Classify, code and summarise numerical and financial data using journals, ledgers and computer systems.
• Prepare, maintain and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing or payroll reports and tables.
• Complete period‑end closing procedures and related reports.
• Prepare, review, reconcile and issue bills, invoices and account statements according to company procedures.
• Follow all company policies, maintain confidentiality and protect company assets.
• Provide professional service to guests and respond to communications promptly.
• Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.

Required profile

• Saudi nationality (mandatory).
• Presence in Makkah preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• At least 2 years of related accounting experience.
• SOCPA certification.
• No supervisory experience required.
