Accountant – IFRS & Saudi Tax Specialist

About the role

CDHORIZON, a leading integrated equipment operation service provider in the construction sector, is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage its full accounting cycle in Saudi Arabia. The role involves ensuring compliance with IFRS, Saudi tax regulations, and ZATCA e‑invoicing requirements while supporting the finance team with accurate reporting and analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete accounting cycle, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets.
• Execute month‑end and year‑end closing activities and prepare IFRS‑compliant financial statements.
• Ensure accurate revenue recognition, asset accounting, and maintenance of financial records.
• Monitor daily cash and bank transactions, maintaining effective internal controls.
• Handle VAT, Withholding Tax, and Corporate Income Tax compliance and filings.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.
• Prepare financial reports, analyse cash flow and business performance, and support budgeting and management reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East.
• Professional certification such as SOCPA, CPA, or ACCA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Saudi tax regulations.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
