Accountant

About the role

We are looking for an Accountant to join Impact’s Finance & Accounting team, reporting to the Accounting Manager. The role will manage daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial records, and support timely reporting while maintaining compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Record and review daily accounting entries in line with accounting standards.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate financial records.
• Issue invoices to clients, partners, and vendors according to company policies.
• Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on collections, and support cash‑flow management.
• Process payments, expenses, and payroll in coordination with the finance team.
• Prepare tax schedules and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Coordinate with internal departments on financial documentation and requirements.
• Improve accounting processes, internal controls, and operational efficiency.
• Provide financial data and analytical reports to support management decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in accounting or financial operations.
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle NetSuite.
