About the role
The Accountant will join Wajda Group’s finance team in Riyadh, handling day‑to‑day accounting activities for a diversified portfolio of projects across telecom, ICT, media, electromechanical works and construction. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures accurate financial data is recorded, reported and used to support strategic decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Record financial transactions and maintain the general ledger.
- Prepare and issue invoices, manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Perform bank and account reconciliations on a regular basis.
- Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
- Support the preparation of financial reports, budgets and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian accounting standards and internal controls.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and general ledger management.
- Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable and invoicing.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet multiple deadlines.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
