Accountant – Record to Report (Middle East)

About the role

IFS is seeking a detail‑oriented and analytical Accountant, Record to Report to join its finance team in Riyadh. You will manage the full financial close cycle for assigned Middle‑East entities, ensuring accurate, compliant reporting in a multi‑currency, multi‑regulatory environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute monthly, quarterly and year‑end close activities for assigned entities, meeting group reporting timelines.
• Prepare comprehensive financial statements under IFRS and local GAAP, including required disclosures.
• Review and reconcile balance‑sheet accounts each month with full supporting documentation.
• Support preparation and filing of VAT and other statutory tax returns for Middle‑East entities.
• Coordinate with local tax advisors, external auditors and authorities to ensure statutory compliance.
• Serve as primary contact for statutory audits, providing schedules, reconciliations and supporting documents.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on detail.
• Experience managing complete financial close cycles for multiple entities.
• Good knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP frameworks.
• Ability to work in a multi‑currency, multi‑regulatory environment.
• Excellent collaboration skills with global and local stakeholders.
• Proven ability to maintain robust financial controls and support audit processes.
