Accountant (Saudi National) - Accounts Payable & Receivable

About the role

KEO, an architecture and project management consultancy, is looking for a Saudi national Accountant to join its team in Riyadh. The role supports accurate, timely and compliant accounting across accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations and financial closing.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring transactions are supported, approved, coded and recorded in the correct period, and apply AP controls to spot discrepancies and risks.
• Prepare and process accruals and prepayments, and support month-end and year-end closing.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation, and prepare journal entries, accruals and adjustments.
• Perform bank reconciliations and assist with balance sheet reconciliations.
• Review and process client invoices, coordinate with stakeholders on billing issues, and process and allocate cash receipts.
• Support compliance with KSA VAT, ZATCA and other local invoicing requirements, and ensure accounting follows IFRS and internal controls.
• Provide support for internal and external audits.

Required profile

• 1-3 years of work experience in accounting and finance.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Fluency in English and Arabic, with strong written and verbal communication.

Required skills

• Sound accounting knowledge, including AP processes and financial controls.
• Analytical, reconciliation and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail, organisation and follow-up.
