Accounts Payable Accountant – Property & Petty Cash

About the role

The Accounts Payable Accountant will manage financial transactions related to store property rent and petty cash for Nahdi. The role ensures accurate recording, compliance with company policies, and timely payments.

Key responsibilities

• Review and reconcile store petty cash and maintenance invoices against provided Excel sheets.
• Conduct sample audits of petty cash, comparing with bank statements and supporting documents.
• Verify invoice compliance with Nahdi policies, including required signatures, approvals, and stamps, and enter them into the system.
• Maintain the cheque log sheet, track dispatches, and ensure cheques are returned to prevent loss.
• Prepare lease payments by reviewing lease contracts, posting to the correct accounts, and forwarding to the NTI accountant for payment.
• Perform additional accounting duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
