Accounts Payable Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to manage the full AP cycle for Bayut KSA, ensuring month‑end close, financial reporting and management reporting are completed accurately and on time. The role involves vendor and inter‑company reconciliations, accruals and maintaining an audit‑ready payables process.

Key responsibilities

• Own month‑end close for AP, including invoice processing, 3‑way matching, payment runs, GRIR clearing and preparation of aging reports.
• Prepare monthly accruals, variance analysis and draft notes for the Group Reporting Pack.
• Reconcile vendor statements, resolve invoice/payment discrepancies with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Handle withholding tax (WHT) deductions, filing and ensure compliance with ZATCA e‑invoicing (Fatoora) requirements.
• Produce daily status reports on inter‑company and sundry vendor invoices and track payments for management.
• Compile weekly payables PowerPoint decks for senior leadership meetings.
• Perform ad‑hoc tasks as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance; ACCA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and finance with a strong focus on accounts payable.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting and KSA regulatory requirements (VAT, WHT, ZATCA e‑invoicing).
• Proven ability to manage vendor reconciliations, 3‑way matching and accrual accounting.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
