Analyst - Planning & Optimization

About the role

The Analyst – Planning & Optimization provides analytical and operational support for petrochemical and polymers feedstock streams. The role prepares production planning inputs, develops schedules, performs mass‑balance analysis and supplies data for commercial and operational decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare short‑ to medium‑term production plans that balance customer demand, plant capacity, inventory and maintenance constraints.
• Develop and issue weekly and monthly production schedules for assigned product lines.
• Track schedule execution, identify deviations and report findings for corrective action.
• Collect and validate data for feedstock optimisation and mass‑balance models, including swaps and alternative sourcing scenarios.
• Generate dashboards, tables and KPIs from operational, supply and demand data to support planning decisions.
• Participate in S&OP and ES&OP meetings to align production capabilities with commercial demand.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in production planning, scheduling or feedstock optimisation.
