Application Support Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an Application Support Engineer to provide enterprise‑level assistance to our customers. You will act as the first point of contact for software issues, ensuring rapid resolution and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, document, and track bug reports using the internal bug‑reporting system (Lotus Notes).
• Install, troubleshoot, and demonstrate software for on‑site users.
• Research and identify solutions for software and hardware problems.
• Ask targeted questions to quickly understand root causes.
• Escalate unresolved issues to development or other internal teams.
• Provide clear feedback via phone, email, or chat and follow up to confirm system functionality.
• Prioritize multiple open issues and meet agreed resolution times.
• Prepare accurate reports and document technical knowledge in notes and manuals.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
• 3‑6 years of experience in application support or related IT roles.
• Strong knowledge of Internet Information Services (IIS), RDBMS, and networking tools.
