Arabic Special Educator

About the role

The Arabic Special Educator will support students with learning difficulties by delivering tailored instruction in Arabic, conducting assessments, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to create effective learning environments.

Key responsibilities

• Perform achievement standardized assessments and prepare detailed reports.
• Develop individualized educational plans (IEPs) that address each student’s weaknesses, outlining methods, strategies, and evaluation procedures.
• Deliver one‑on‑one and group instructional sessions using research‑based methods.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design, plan, and maintain a collaborative learning environment.
• Create worksheets, resources, and forms that support departmental effectiveness.
• Provide home‑program training for parents to reinforce learning at home.
• Ensure all practices comply with CARF accreditation standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience working with students who have learning difficulties.
• Ability to design and implement individualized educational plans in Arabic.
• Strong knowledge of research‑based instructional strategies.
• Familiarity with CARF accreditation requirements.
