Arabic/English Bilingual AI Data Annotator & Evaluator (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a bilingual Arabic‑English specialist to support AI data and language projects on a fully remote, hourly‑contract basis. The role involves annotating data, evaluating large‑language‑model outputs, generating prompts and ensuring high‑quality localization across diverse topics.

Key responsibilities

• Annotate and label documents, tables and other content to build training datasets for AI models.
• Evaluate AI‑generated responses for accuracy, reasoning, coherence and cultural/linguistic appropriateness.
• Create high‑quality prompts and model responses to guide AI learning.
• Perform localization quality assurance, checking terminology, tone, cultural nuance and locale‑specific details such as units, names and dates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Translation, Linguistics, Localization, Communications or a related field.
• Native or near‑native proficiency in Arabic (Modern Standard and at least one dialect) with strong writing and editing skills.
• Minimum C1 English proficiency for reading and writing.
• Excellent editorial judgment, attention to detail and ability to identify meaning drift, ambiguity and subtle errors.
• Strong fact‑checking skills and ability to explain corrections clearly in writing.
• Self‑directed, reliable and able to communicate across time zones.

Required skills

• MQM/LQA concepts (severity, category, root‑cause analysis).
• Computer‑Assisted Translation (CAT) tools.
• Translation memory and termbase management.
• Automated quality‑check workflows.
• Experience with AI data annotation, training or evaluation.
