Archaeological Architect Engineer

About the role

Assystem is seeking an Archaeological Architect Engineer to join its Riyadh office. The role focuses on assessing, documenting and conserving archaeological and heritage sites within complex infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with cultural heritage standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed architectural assessments and produce documentation of archaeological and heritage sites.
• Develop restoration and conservation plans aligned with local and international heritage regulations.
• Prepare technical reports and support construction supervision to protect cultural values.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams.
• Ensure all project deliverables meet quality and safety requirements.

Required profile

• Proficiency in architectural assessment, restoration techniques and heritage conservation.
• Strong background in research, documentation and drawing preparation for archaeological architecture.
• Knowledge of Saudi heritage preservation regulations and international best practices.
• Relevant professional qualifications or certifications in architectural engineering or related fields.
• Degree in architecture, archaeological studies or a closely related discipline (highly desirable).
• Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
