Architect – Industrial & Commercial Projects

About the role

Our client, a leading industrial services and contracting firm in Saudi Arabia, is seeking an experienced Architect to join the Facilities/Projects team in Jubail. The role involves developing architectural concepts, producing detailed designs, and coordinating construction activities for industrial and commercial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts, layouts, and detailed 2D/3D drawings.
• Create visual presentations and 3D models using Revit, SketchUp, and 3ds Max.
• Review project plans, specifications, and construction documents for compliance.
• Coordinate architectural requirements with civil, structural, MEP, and other disciplines.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure design compliance.
• Identify design issues and propose practical technical solutions.
• Prepare construction details, material specifications, and finish schedules.
• Support interior space planning, furniture layouts, and space optimization.
• Review contractor drawings, material submissions, and design modifications.
• Participate in project and construction coordination meetings and maintain accurate design documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering or related field.
• 4–5 years of experience in architectural roles, preferably on industrial, commercial or civil construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes and authority requirements.
• Proven ability to work with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem‑solving and communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong knowledge of SketchUp and 3ds Max.
• Experience with BIM processes and architectural modelling.
• Familiarity with Lumion, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign (advantageous).
