Architectural Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an Architectural Engineer to join our project team in Riyadh, focusing on retail fit‑out and mall interior works. The role involves reviewing tenant design submissions, coordinating with multiple disciplines, and ensuring compliance with design standards and Saudi building codes.

Key responsibilities

• Review tenant concept, detailed architectural and fit‑out drawing submissions against approved design criteria, the Tenant Design & Fit‑Out Manual and mall standards.
• Coordinate architectural requirements with Leasing, Development, FM, Operations, MEP disciplines, tenants and consultants.
• Monitor tenant fit‑out works on site from commencement through completion, conducting inspections and identifying design deviations.
• Review material samples, mock‑ups, finishes and architectural details, and manage corrective actions for non‑compliant works.
• Manage architectural snagging, follow up on rectifications and support tenant unit completion and final handover.
• Maintain accurate records of approved drawings, comments, inspections, approvals and site observations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.
• 3–5 years of experience in architectural design, retail fit‑out, interior architecture or tenant coordination.
• Proven experience reviewing architectural drawings, material selections and site installations, preferably within a landlord, developer, mall or commercial property environment.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Building Code requirements and relevant architectural standards.
