Director – Development (Retail Resort Core)

About the role

The Director – Development (Retail Resort Core) will lead the planning, execution and delivery of retail resort core projects for Qiddiya in Riyadh, ensuring alignment with business objectives, commercial positioning and operational readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Develop implementation approaches, delivery schedules and execution activities for assigned developments, aligning with approved business objectives and asset positioning.
• Manage development sequencing, integration activities and delivery planning to maintain timelines and achieve approved development outcomes.
• Oversee end‑to‑end development delivery from concept through handover, monitoring quality, schedule, cost and operational readiness.
• Evaluate feasibility, financial assessments and business cases to inform investment decisions and ensure adherence to financial parameters.
• Ensure compliance with governance, standards and regulatory obligations, reviewing stage‑gate submissions and monitoring risk.
• Coordinate planning, design, commercial, delivery and operational workstreams, managing stakeholder interfaces and interdependencies.
• Engage with tenants, operators, partners and service providers to integrate operational requirements and achieve activation readiness.
