Architectural Engineer – QA/QC

About the role

We are seeking an Architectural Engineer specialized in Quality Assurance and Quality Control to join our Al Hufuf site. The role supports the delivery of high‑quality building systems by ensuring that designs, materials, and construction processes meet alfanar’s rigorous standards.

Key responsibilities

• Verify drawing conformity, ensuring dimensions and embedments follow design specifications and resolve conflicts with designers.
• Manage inspection compliance by responding to RFIs, monitoring corrective actions, and representing the department during joint inspections with consultants and clients.
• Drive continuous improvement through root‑cause analysis of non‑conformities, monitoring corrective action reports, and enhancing QA/QC processes.
• Ensure only approved materials are used, clarify project execution requirements, and raise quality concerns proactively.
• Document non‑conformities, observations, and required corrective actions, and prepare periodic deviation reports.

Required profile

• Ability to acquire and update technical knowledge related to QA/QC in construction.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with the capacity to escalate complex issues.
• Commitment to delivering tasks on schedule while optimizing resource use.

Required skills

• No specific technical tools listed; familiarity with QA/QC processes, RFI handling, RCA, CAR, and NCR documentation is expected.
