Assistant Manager – Accounting & Reporting Advisory (Audit & Assurance)

About the role

As an Assistant Manager in the Accounting and Reporting Advisory (ARA) practice, you will support client proposals, oversee day‑to‑day engagement activities, and act as an agile contributor across audit and assurance services.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct research on IFRS and local GAAP issues and prepare high‑quality technical reports and presentations.
• Develop client proposals, including drafting scopes of work and project budgets.
• Lead engagements for the preparation of financial statements and accounting policies under IFRS and local GAAP.
• Draft revenue‑recognition and leasing accounting policies for diversified industry clients.
• Provide complex accounting advice on abnormal transactions, acquisitions, and IFRS impact assessments.
• Deliver training to clients on new accounting standards and their system implications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or Economics with strong academic credentials.
• 5+ years of public accounting or equivalent experience, including technical accounting advisory.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced team environment.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Fluent in English (reading, speaking, writing).
