Assistant Manager – Audit & Assurance (Insurance)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking an Assistant Manager to join its Audit & Assurance team in Riyadh, focusing on the insurance sector. You will work closely with senior managers and specialists to deliver high‑quality audit engagements for leading insurance entities.

Key responsibilities

• Understand key statistics and industry matters of the client before engagement, reviewing prior year financial statements and audit reports.
• Coordinate responsibilities between the engagement team and external experts, managing timelines and deliverables.
• Track findings, follow up on outstanding work, and ensure appropriate sign‑offs across the team.
• Apply audit guidance, practice aids, and tools to maintain professional skepticism throughout procedures.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, identify audit priorities early, and anticipate contingency plans.
• Prepare and review documentation, anticipating reviewer questions and referencing authoritative literature.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to manage audit engagements and collaborate with specialists.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail in documentation and checklists.
• Proactive approach to monitoring deadlines and sign‑off processes.
• Experience in the insurance industry is preferred.
