Assistant Manager – Strategic Consultancy

About the role

Savills is looking for a highly motivated and analytical real‑estate professional to join its Strategic Consultancy team. As an Assistant Manager you will support a variety of advisory assignments, from market studies to investment appraisal, helping clients make informed development decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and delivery of consultancy assignments, including market studies, feasibility analyses, highest‑and‑best‑use assessments, master‑plan advisory and investment appraisal reports.
• Support business development by identifying opportunities, preparing proposals and liaising with clients and stakeholders.
• Manage project studies: define research requirements, coordinate tasks, conduct primary and secondary research, and deliver high‑quality reports.
• Apply international best practices and industry standards to produce strategic insights.
• Develop a deep understanding of client needs, market trends and regional dynamics to provide relevant recommendations.
• Prepare, maintain and review Excel‑based financial models covering cash‑flow analysis, development assumptions and project programmes.
• Conduct comprehensive market analysis across asset classes, evaluating supply, demand, performance and future outlook.
• Undertake demand analysis using demographic, economic and sector‑specific indicators.

Required profile

• Strong interest in real‑estate advisory and consultancy.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to combine market intelligence, financial analysis and commercial understanding.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for financial modelling.
