Assistant Manager – Valuation & Financial Advisory

About the role

The Assistant Manager will lead valuation and financial advisory engagements for a diverse client portfolio, overseeing engagement teams, developing complex financial models, and delivering high‑quality client reports.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review complex financial models and valuation analyses using methodologies such as Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), market multiples and comparable transactions.
• Perform business, intangible asset, purchase price allocation and impairment valuations.
• Analyze historical financial statements, operational data and market information to identify value drivers, risks and opportunities.
• Conduct model reviews, stress‑testing and sensitivity analyses to ensure integrity and reliability.
• Research companies, industries, market trends and economic conditions to support valuation conclusions.
• Prepare high‑quality valuation reports, financial advisory reports and executive presentations for senior management and clients.
• Lead multiple engagements simultaneously, monitoring progress, budgets and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with internal quality, risk management and documentation policies.
• Supervise, mentor and develop junior team members, reviewing their work and providing feedback.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, internal stakeholders and senior leadership.

Required profile

• Strong technical valuation expertise with experience in financial modeling and analysis.
• Proven project management and engagement‑leadership capabilities.
• Ability to translate complex financial analyses into clear, decision‑oriented insights.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to senior management and clients.
• Experience mentoring and developing junior team members.
