Assistant Store Manager

About the role

As an Assistant Store Manager at Nespresso, you will act as a brand ambassador, ensuring the boutique reflects Nespresso’s values and delivers a premium 360° customer experience. You will support the Boutique Manager in daily operations and step in during their absence.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain brand consistency and a clean, well‑organized boutique, overseeing displays of capsules, machines, and accessories.
• Provide exceptional customer service, guiding guests, advising on products, and handling complaints.
• Manage operational tasks such as staff scheduling, stock control, delivery reception, and IT issue escalation.
• Oversee cash management, including cash collection, card payments, register reconciliation, and compliance with control documentation.
• Supervise inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels for machines, capsules, accessories, and POS materials.
• Train and coach Coffee Specialists, implementing regular training plans to uphold Nespresso values.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months of retail or boutique experience.
• Strong customer‑focused attitude with the ability to identify and meet client needs.
• Proactive problem‑solver capable of handling complaints and operational issues.
• Excellent organizational skills to keep the boutique tidy and well‑stocked.
