Associate AI Quality Engineer

About the role

Foodics is looking for an Associate AI Quality Engineer to build and maintain the internal AI‑driven testing infrastructure that powers our engineering teams. You will design, develop, and operate tools that generate tests, triage failures, and evaluate AI features, ensuring they are reliable and usable by engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop test automation across backend APIs, frontend web applications, and mobile platforms using Playwright, Appium, Maestro and related frameworks.
• Create and maintain AI‑based test generation pipelines that produce tests from specifications, code, and production traffic.
• Implement failure‑triage systems that classify red builds as bugs, flakes, environment issues, or test rot before human intervention.
• Build self‑healing locators, suite‑health tooling, and coverage‑gap analysis to keep test suites stable.
• Design and run performance and load testing to validate system scalability.
• Integrate test data management, parallelisation, and CI pipelines so that a failing build provides actionable feedback.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ship production‑grade code and own the CI environment.

Required profile

• At least 1 month of experience in software testing or quality engineering.
• Strong interest in AI‑enhanced testing and automation.
• Ability to write production‑quality code and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Comfort working across backend, frontend, and mobile stacks.
