Automation Specialist

About the role

HALA is seeking an Automation Specialist to design, develop and maintain robotic process automation (RPA) solutions that support its fintech operations across the MENAP region. You will work closely with business analysts, stakeholders and IT teams to identify automation opportunities, build bots and ensure they align with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and document process automation opportunities in collaboration with business analysts and stakeholders.
• Design, develop, test and deploy RPA bots using platforms such as n8n, Zapier and Make.com.
• Conduct feasibility studies and process evaluations to assess automation potential.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise existing bots for performance improvements.
• Maintain clear documentation of automation workflows and ensure compliance with best practices.
• Provide training and support to business teams on new automation tools and workflows.
• Report regularly on automation progress, performance metrics and challenges.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Four to six years of experience delivering process automation solutions.
• Proven track record with RPA platforms and ERP systems such as Zoho.
• Strong understanding of enterprise systems and business process improvement methodologies.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with RPA development, deployment and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in n8n, Zapier, Make.com and Zoho.
• Workflow automation and process mapping expertise.
• Knowledge of enterprise systems and process optimisation.
