AVeVA Platform Developer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced AVEVA Platform Specialist to design, develop, and support AVEVA‑based solutions for industrial automation and digital transformation projects in Jeddah.

The role involves creating dashboards, integrating with PLCs, SCADA, MES, ERP systems, and ensuring system performance and cybersecurity compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement solutions using the AVEVA platform.
• Configure and customize AVEVA applications to meet business and operational requirements.
• Develop dashboards, visualization screens, reports, and industrial applications.
• Integrate AVEVA solutions with PLCs, SCADA, MES, ERP, and other enterprise systems.
• Configure data historians, alarms, events, and real‑time monitoring solutions.
• Troubleshoot application issues and optimize system performance.
• Support system upgrades, migrations, and platform enhancements.
• Prepare technical documentation, design specifications, and user manuals.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, automation engineers, and project teams.
• Participate in testing, commissioning, deployment, and post‑go‑live support.
• Ensure adherence to AVEVA development standards and cybersecurity best practices.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.

Required profile

• 5–10+ years of experience in AVEVA Platform development and implementation.
• Proven experience developing industrial automation and SCADA solutions.
• Strong knowledge of AVEVA System Platform, InTouch, and Historian.
• Experience integrating AVEVA with PLCs, ERP, MES, and enterprise applications.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Background in manufacturing, energy, utilities, oil & gas, or process industries is preferred.
